Ulrich Grimm, Global Head of Non-apparel Design, to Depart Calvin Klein After 22 Years

Ulrich Grimm, global head of non-apparel design at Calvin Klein Inc., is leaving the company, effective Aug. 2.

Grimm has been with Calvin Klein for almost 22 years and previously served as executive vice president, design, shoes and accessories.

During his time at the brand, the highly regarded Grimm built a strong global alignment across its accessories, including some of the licensed categories such as eyewear and watches and jewelry. He oversaw design for accessories, footwear and home.

Norris to use helmet designed by young fan for F1 British GP

Lando Norris will use a special Formula 1 helmet design created by a six-year-old girl for this weekend’s British Grand Prix following a competition.

Norris held a special competition in the build-up to his home grand prix at Silverstone, inviting his fans to design his helmet for the weekend.

The winning entry came courtesy of six-year-old Eva Muttram, whose father submitted a hand-coloured design on her behalf that was picked by Norris for Silverstone.

FDA opens door to rapid, at-home testing for COVID-19

The Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday opened the door to COVID-19 testing that could be fast, cheap, and handled entirely at home — if companies don’t find the rules too burdensome.

Routine screening of people who don’t know they have COVID-19 could transform the fight against the disease.
